our story
We make a small range of furniture using precious timbers from lutruwita. Bruno has a lifetime of experience working with timber having work beside his father who was taught in France using traditional fine furniture making methods. Bruno also brings specialist skills from metal machining and engineering that underpin his focus on precision in design and making.

our philosophy
Pieman River, takayna
We choose to live in lutruwita/Tasmania and choose to use timbers sourced from lutruwita. We try our best to ensure every piece of timber is used in the most purposeful way even down to the sawdust. We carefully select timber that best suits the piece of furniture we are making. We use laminating processes to joint smaller pieces of timber to make the most of our precious resource. Then the off-cuts are used for for our smallest pieces - bird houses. And finally the sawdust gets put onto our vegie garden for the cycle to start all over again.

our collaboration
We work closely with Meg of Woodley & Co., Launceston, for timber supply. She has helped source some interesting featured timbers which are perfect for our smaller pieces of furniture.
